Ask with faith
Friday, May 22, 2009 4:07 AM The title for today's devotion is Ask with faith. and God really reminded me on how we don't even ask enough! in the sense, we dare to ask things to are small in our lives and SEEM possible enough to happen, for e.g. praying for bus (maybe because we see it happening often). but when it comes to stuffa in our lives that may SEEM unlikely, we may tend to withdraw from asking as much, or do not ask enough! for e.g. praying for my teacher to be later than me for class even though i'm already late! (it's VERY unlikely for that to happen in poly!). not encouraging us to purposely be late then pray for that! but however you can really pray for anything and everything! God also spoke to me on how asking with faith is NOT just about daring to ask for more as well=) asking with faith is also about having a closer relationship with God, such that God will show us how we can ask and pray for more in our lives as well! areas which we don't know we need to pray for! and so i really want to grow even closer to God, by really spending time with Him daily, conversing with Him more when i'm alone on bus and such, praying for not just every single little thing but big thing as well so i can rely on Him even more! i want to love God even more=) jiayou guys! [When you rely on God more, you learn of God's reliability firsthand, and this experience increases everytime!] -Aloy |
