Jesus Rock Our life!

hey guys if you haven't start doing your devotions, start already!! haha

and i confess! i only started doing my devotions today =( but i really thank God i did the devotions, what's more the devotions really don't take up much time to read, and so from now til our unstoppable camp. let's post up our learnings in our daily camp devotions in this blog!

and i shall start first! heh, anyway i took time in the morning to read all the devotions i missed too to catch up to the current one because i don't want to miss a single chance to be spoken to by God! (you don't have to do the same. but still! a chance for God to speak to you, you don't want to miss it out!)

as i read the first devotion, God really reminded me on what is the state of my heart today? our heart is like a fortress whose enemies are temptations, satan and all satan's act. however if the walls of our hearts are like Jerusalem's wall, then imagine how easy enemies can get in our hearts and turn us away from God! and thats why we really need to come before God and pray for Him to restore those walls and cover our hearts with His word!

and for the rest of the devotions i read today, it's really a lot on me slowing down my life for God amongst all hurried project deadlines and tests in my school, learning to slow down, depend on God and look to Him for directions, not worrying nor panicking.

and i really want to do just that! as i look back at my past weeks, it's been so super busy! as i have 2 / 3 tests, 2 projects and a presentation to handle in the very same week! my life was moving so fast that the week passed before i could even start reacting to it!

but from now til camp, though i'm still going to have quite a few tests and projects to hand in, i'm going to trust in God, take it slow and move along God's directions as i seek Him everyday.

i believe past 2 - 3 weeks, most / all of us have been busy studying..=) or playing(busy playing?! !@#!@#) during the exams period, and may have missed out God in the process of it! but i just want to remind us that being unstoppable is something that will happen during june camp! it is something that starts today! with a heart for God, loving God, we will be someone who is unstoppable! let's really start being faithful to God as He stays faithful to us in our exams! start reading your camp devotions and spend that extra quality time with God everyday! i look forward to seeing other learnings being posted up=D jiayou !!
