Offense is the best defense
Friday, May 29, 2009 2:59 AM today's devotion title is "Somewhere over the Rainbow"! talks about how we can have hope in God even when we face troubles etc. and what really blessed me today thru the devotions is how we can pray in advance whatever we know we are weak in, e.g. impatience, easily angered, pride etc. and this is what i meant by this post's title. offense is the best defense, rather than allowing your temptations and struggles pull you down when they come into your life, then we repent and pray for strength. we can take the first move by starting our day with a prayer for strength to overcome our weaknesses! God i pray You'll help me to be patient, less complaining, diligent and a good salt and light in my class tomorrow as i wake up and go for class. i know i can do all that through You who will give me the strength to do it. and all these i pray in Jesus' Name. Amen. |
