Jesus Rock Our life!

WOOOOOHHH!!!! times really flies! It's 1 june already!!!! That means its' only 11 days away from camp! As camp is drawing closer and closer, I am getting more and more excited about this! This camp is really going to be so great and awesome! Shirley in her blog has given her very 'interesting' conviction of camp, which I TOTALLY agreed to it man! Check it out man! =D

But can i just draw your attention to soemthing that is really really important? I need to tell you soemthing that is so important that it can affect your camp TOTALLY! So if you want to enjoy your camp fully... carry on reading!!!!

PREPARATION.

Yea. The word is PREPARATION. i know some of you are like thinking...."huh? wat de?" But hey! I'm really serious! PREPARATION is really important! in order for you to really enjoy the camp fully, all of you guys need to prepare your hearts prior to the camp itself! what do i mean?
Read Luke 4:8-15.

v15 -"But the seed on good soil .... who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop."

Our hearts are the soil that Jesus is referring to. And the seeds are like God's Word. In order for us to be people whose God's word will bear fruits in our life, we need to make sure that our hearts are good and softened soil- That when Jesus speaks to us, it's very easy for His word to reside in our hearts and grow into a great crop and bear good fruits! And this require much effort.

1 simple thing that can help you prepares your hearts is to start doing your devotion! So simple but YES! DO YOUR DEVOTION!!!!! you need to get used to hearing God's voice and God speaking to you! I mean when we go for camp, the thing that we Sosososososo desire is for god to drop that one simple word into our heart and change our lives for eternity isn't it?! Well, if that is so... you need to get used to hearing god's voice! By doing your devotion daily and seeking god daily, you can learn to get used to god speaking to you through his bible! So when camp is finally here... It's so much easier for you to hear from God himself and come into God's presence with much ease since you have been doing that for past 2 weeks!

Dun let laziness stop you from experiencing God today! Just spend 15 mintues everyday with God and hear from Him! Play lesser computer, watch lesser TV, sleep 15min later... Not that hard man! Trust me in this- It really makes a DIFFERENCE!!!!!

C'MON BROTHERS!!!! Let's be a generation of guys that seeks after God's face everyday of our lives!!!! =D
