Jesus Rock Our life!

hey guys! aloy here and i just wanna share about my experience in unstoppable camp=D

i went into camp with 2 objectives, to recommit my heart to God and to seek God for His direction in my life. which up til now, i'm still not quite sure where exactly God wants to lead me to yet.

but starting from the first day to the last, in every worship, teaching and whatever i'm doing, i constantly ask God to take my heart and change it for a new heart of flesh, one that is sensitive. and i totally understand the sensitivity of having a heart of flesh, cos before camp i was injured quite a few times on my leg! and there were flesh wounds, when it was exposed it was definitely sensitive to the surroundings and i'm definitely protective of it so i don't get hurt! and that's what a heart of flesh is to be like, sensitive to the spiritual surroundings and us being protective of it so we don't allow sins or anything of that sort to come into our heart.

and along the way God spoke to me even more about my life which i really thank Him for those blessings!

few things that really struck me during the camp!

1) i am still a hypocrite in transition, i say what i want to do and accomplish and many times i fail. but one thing i want to do, is to never give up so i won't be that hypocrite! i'm just an imperfect human which has many imperfections and sins but i don't ever want to give up, especially when it's in regards to Jesus and His kingdom!

2) in regards to having pride in my life, one of the incidents that really struck me was the battle of sexes, that even though the guys won, i wasn't really like very happy kind. because even though we won, there had to be conflicts in the process, which then i would rather not win. many times in my life, i'm like that, trying to win, do things my way and live life however i want, though i kinda get what i want, but at the end of it, i'm not really as happy because of the price i had to pay together with it. which God reminded me again that our victory does not lie in the results shown, but in the efforts put in. as long as we give our best to Him with Him, we ARE winners already! that's our victory.

3) its really not about how capable we are, but how much we rely on God. this really struck me real hard on just how much i've not relied on God even tho i serve Him. we can do all the work we can, but only God can move the heart and situation! no matter the situation, ultimately as we give our best to God, we need to give our hearts to Him as well, trusting and relying on Him in all that we do.

and it was not just lessons learnt and all, i really really enjoyed the camp because i was in camp with ED1! with our cool towels reminding us on how we should be servants of God! and all those memorable and unforgettable nights of crap, "dj-ing" and "turn-tabling"! hahaha you definitely have to be there to know what i'm talking about and understand the amount of fun it had. and i really got to know more ppl in the cg, and made good friends during the camp! and discovering the hidden and talented super massager, daniel!

lastly, i myself am a little afraid of returning the old me before camp, not fulfilling and seeing to past what God has convicted me in camp. and i believe some of us have that fear too, but i believe that's what the caregroup is for! in accordance to what was spoken during today's morning qt, i really believe that God is really gonna bring us to greater heights, with all the difficulties we need to stick it thru as a family of ED1, that when we have problems, troubles and struggles we need to account to our shepherds / leaders and even to each other so we can help to keep watch over each other so that we'll sustain even after camp! jiayou guys! we can definitely shine God's light and love thru our lives after camp. rmb to keep a close walk with God daily=)
